Job Summary / Résumé du poste :We are looking for a skilled and motivated Plant Manager to oversee our Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) coating facility in Quebec. The candidate must have strong technical knowledge of PVD technologies and proven leadership in a production environment.
Nous recherchons un(e) responsable d’usine qualifié(e) et motivé(e) pour superviser notre installation de revêtement par dépôt physique en phase vapeur (PVD) au Québec. Le candidat doit posséder une solide expertise technique des technologies PVD et une expérience avérée en gestion de production.
Key Responsibilities / Responsabilités principales :
 Manage daily operations of the PVD plant, including production, quality,maintenance, and logistics. Gérer les opérations quotidiennes de l’usine PVD, incluant la production, la qualité, la maintenance et la logistique.
 Supervise, train and evaluate the team (operators, technicians). Superviser, former et évaluer l’équipe (opérateurs, techniciens).
 Optimize coating parameters and ensure consistent quality. Optimiser les paramètres de revêtement et assurer une qualité constante.
 Plan and schedule jobs to meet delivery deadlines. Planifier et organiser les travaux pour respecter les délais de livraison.
 Ensure health & safety and compliance with environmental regulations. Assurer la santé et la sécurité au travail et veiller au respect des normes environnementales.
 Monitor KPIs such as efficiency, downtime, and productivity. Suivre les indicateurs clés de performance (efficacité, arrêts, productivité).
 Coordinate preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment. Coordonner la maintenance préventive et le dépannage des équipements.
 Interface with clients for technical support and planning. Interagir avec les clients pour le support technique et la planification.
 Lead continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, 5S, etc.). Diriger des initiatives d’amélioration continue (Lean, 5S, etc.).
 Manage budgets, inventories, and operational costs. Gérer les budgets, les stocks et les coûts d’exploitation.
Qualifications:
 Bachelor’s degree in engineering, materials science, or related field. Baccalauréat en ingénierie, science des matériaux ou domaine connexe.
 5+ years in PVD or vacuum coating industry, including leadership experience. 5+ années d’expérience dans l’industrie du revêtement PVD ou sous vide, dont une expérience en gestion.
 Deep knowledge of PVD technologies (sputtering, arc, etc.). Solide connaissance des technologies PVD (sputtering, arc, etc.).
 Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Excellentes compétences en leadership, organisation et communication.
 Familiarity with ISO quality systems and safety standards. Connaissance des systèmes qualité ISO et des normes de sécurité.
 Bilingual – French and English (spoken and written) required. Bilinguisme – français et anglais (parlé et écrit) requis.
Work Conditions / Conditions de travail :
 Full-time, permanent position. Poste permanent à temps plein.
 On-site work at the coating facility. Travail sur site dans l’usine de revêtement.
 Occasional evening or weekend work may be required. Travail occasionnel en soirée ou fin de semaine possible.
